I feel like this could really have done with a more extensive introduction instead of jumping straight into the edge. Show how happy Flum and her girlfriend are to be chosen together, promising to support each other and always stay together, then the party gradually getting frustrated with her limitations, Cyrill getting more and more scared she won't be able to protect her the further on their journey they go. It's hard to be invested in her having lost all of her hopes and dreams - and the cathartic revenge-fantasy moment when she takes it all back with her own power - when that's just how we're introduced to her right away, rather than the story building up all of those hopes and dreams first.The whole game-logic fakesekai thing feels kind of unncecessary, too, and kind of makes the powerups less interesting. Instead of reversing all kinds of unique curses that could give rise to unique abilities that require clever usage or unique fighting styles in the same way her sword-melting reversal does, seems like most of them just end up being "it gives +2785 Attack because it usually gives -2785 Attack!". Armor that weighs you down with cursed chains, but now she can control them against her enemies, cursed mirrors that usually spawn a twisted reflection to replace you, but now it's on her side. Give her some Boots of Dancing or a Shield of Missile Attraction and see what she can do with them. Or, what would a Girldle of Masculinity/Femininity do?Also, this has got to be some of the most egregiously awful insertion of a narrator I've ever seen. There are stories where including a narrator makes sense, if it relies a lot on the author's voice with interesting prose and asides that are hard to put into normal dialogue, but this is absolutely not one of those cases. Use some visual language, director-san, you do not need to fill every last second with speech. It's not that there's no interesting ideas here, but it feels so clumsy and flatly-conveyed
