He'd probably be well within his rights to say "I can't save her from that." and abandon her. At worst it'd be considered a failed quest where he lost one out of three people he was supposed to protect. So him butchering a goblin horde for no extra reward so that she doesn't spend the rest of her short life as a goblin toy and breeding bag would absolutely earn her eternal gratitude, even if he was too late to save her chastity. So while I expect she'll get saved in time as well, I don't think it's really a hard requirement that she get saved in time.

So in this case the best hope for Minstrel is that since the goblins caught up to her during the fight, that they were still in the process of tearing her clothing off when one of the goblins looked back to see what the rest were doing and saw them getting slaughtered by GS. At which point they decided to grab the girl and get back to the safety of the fort. Since GS won't be too far behind them, and the horde will be mobilizing to deal with him and capture the other two women back at the village, the goblins may be too busy for any of them to have fun with Minstrel at the moment. If GS needs to take time to sneak into the fort and the goblins decide to keep going business as usual until they actually see GS, then yeah Minstrel's probably out of luck.

I've used that for a few puzzles, like a door that only lets undead through, and putting the party into a magic bag carried by an owl familiar to bypass the defensives on the walls of a magic citadel. I love the magic system and how it's clearly designed for using spells in varied and unexpected ways. Very classic pen and paper of him.

If they'd kept at it, they should have still been there when GS arrived. That they weren't must mean that they noticed GS was killing a bunch of them, and they grabbed the girl and took her to the fort for their own safety. Intruders in the area and killing goblins should mean the horde in the fort mobilizing to deal with the intruders. While GS going back to drink some water, eat some food, and talk with the other two took some time, I doubt it took more than 10 minutes or so. So all told, GS is probably only going to be something like 15 minutes at most behind Minstrel being brought to the fort. While he can't just stroll in the front door and will need some time to infiltrate, the goblins are going to be on alert, not leisurely amusing themselves with a prisoner. So Minstrel should be okay for a little bit, as long as GS doesn't take too long scouting the fort. Granted there are still scenarios were she isn't so lucky, but my point is that things probably aren't as dire for her as they could be.

Changeling, for example, is an elf, but it seems she matured at normal human speed and acts like a young woman of roughly equal age to Spy. I'm sure there's more in Volume 4 of Year One but my book just came in and I haven't gotten the chance to crack it yet.

Since Necromancer is a good necro, it means she negotiates with the souls of the departed in order to control them. The soul's desire is for a proper burial and so on, so it gives control to Necromancer in ultimate pursuit of that. I do appreciate that necromancy in Goblin Slayer isn't just corpse puppeteering, but a proper magic system in its own right, powered by the spirits of the dead, kinda like how Shaman magic is powered by spirits of nature, ie Spirit Arts.

So it wouldn't be unusual if a changeling grows up at a more human rate.
