He is great at drawing places that make you want to explore them and weird creatures of all kinds and sizes, but he sucks at drawing action and battleshonen slop is nothing but action that rarely allows authors to have a slower pace for a proper world building. IMO he should move to a non-Jump magazine or even illustrate books. WSJ is clearly not for him.

The only ones that could be seen as an issue are the ones that didn't appear at all because those come across as dropped plot points, but that was something that only became apparent once the series had already been axed when none of it mattered anymore. This thing that you identified as a major problem was a total non-issue. The actual factors that killed the series were the dull beginning and a boring MC. Nobody dropped the series because of the Sleipnir, and I mean nobody.
