>>285391901I tried rewatching it because I liked it when it first came out but then I realized I liked it mainly because of the circumstances happening in the world around that time. The internet, while already being quite old at that point, was still relatively mysterious (sort of) instead of the streamlined bullshit that is at this point Web 3. and shit like the LHC and Cern was still in the public consciousness as well as the video of that weird ass ritual that Cern employees did at the compound and that weird ass Yuro promotional video they did that one time that had every conspiracy theorist on YouTube making videos about it. Rewatching it in the modern day just doesn't really have the same feel as watching it back then, if you get what I mean. It's an anime of it's time.
