There's another manga titled Maou Kyoudai that is just what you described. It's about a fantasy hero who after defeating the demon lord receives the task of raising 12 (later 13) demon children who were created from the demon lord's remnants so they become good boys. It's a short but sweet read about cute small boys doing cute things.
