Is the author trying to make me sympathize with dragons?
That's not going to happen. In fact, I want them to die in even more ironic and brutal ways now.
>>
>>285578522
Author has been doing this since Ultimatia in like chapter 15 anon, this isnt new whatsoever. It just shows that they were once human and have relationships as such. (Also again showing the Sun Cult is full of retards so they are frankly just as bad.)

>>
>>285580108
They're likely made from a mix of her and her students blood.
>>
>>285578522
The whole point of this incarnation of roars was to ensure humanity survived the coming magical shitshow. This chapter pretty much confirms the end goal was to sacrifice themselves to save a pocket of humanity after (Not) Light and moon bitch wipe out the surface.
>>
>>285578228
Shin Cutlass.
>>
>>285580108
She made the claws to bring out 100% of the wielder's potential, so their abilities change based on them. Kamui's claw is only a lightning spear because of his own lightning power.
>>
>>285579178
The roars putting the Sun Cult on their hit list will doom a shit ton of people. Ragna hates them too and the way Crimson could get him to join them was to remind him of all of the people who would die if they collapsed. I pretty sure that the Roars even existing also helps World Magic come to completion and that is seemingly really bad.
>>
>>285580453
Actually who does the sun cult help besides themselves? All we've seen so far indicates they do nothing for anyone outside the organization. The only reason they helped out silverware was because they wanted her to join them. They sold a laser system to her Kingdom but they didn't do shit to actually defend it.
>>
>>285576725
Thanks op
>>285581538
Yes it seems that they want for humanity to win but not to protect any human
>>
Kobayashi really needs to make an extra about how Bagram tries to betray his higher-ups in Future Ragna's timeline, only to end up dooming Aysel.
>>
>>285576227
Ayysel-sama probably died sometime after these flashbacks and the one we see in the present is the Dragon God
>>
>>285583220
Bagram and his bloodline wouldn't be so friendly toward the dragon god. I think Aysel somehow merged/became the foundation of the city. That's why they all treat her as somewhat a living being and she can't leave Gehenna.

>>285578522
it's more complicated than that
Kobayashi is showing you the dragons so they can feel human unlike the entire bloodline of wings
fucking Borgius was the most human of them and he was just a parasite that has been living for hundreds of years and served satan the 2nd but he is loyal to his believes, he is sad, angry, happy and deeply cares for his pupil Nebulim, we can feel empathy but that doesn't excuse him for being a human eating freak
the current bloodline of roars entire existence is justified on the sun cult being monsters ruled by satan and some senile hero
it can be argued the fate of humanity rested on the human eating monsters more than the sun cult, well before Ragna appeared since they at least had a plan to take on Sigmalio and Ran but doesn't seem to have worked out in the end for them
managersan just got fucked by his higher ups because one of them wants to find Crimson and now is on a franchise war for who gets to represent humanity
>>
>>285576227
>Gargantina has human ears in the first panel

His final move is really paradoxical. If he has to use it, it means his opponent is definitely above him so I doubt that summoning 100+ more of himself would really make a difference in the end. This is the kind of setting where there are gaps between skill levels that are hard to overcome. Like, I'm imagining Moon Blade used this on Lightning God Kamui and all his clones are still going to get speed blitzed into ashes.

So he can't use this move because he's either stronger than his opponent using his normal skill level and suicide isn't necessary. But if he pops it, at most he might stall his opponent for a bit as they chew through him like a wood shredder. I doubt that the Ageless Swordsman is going to die here, just spend 60 seconds mopping up his former colleague.

Yeah. Hakuren already easily handled a bunch of clones without damage just running through them. 100+ isn't going to make a change here unless the theory that Hakuren has a sleep cycle after exerting himself be real. He would literally have to stop being an absolute monster to lose to Zahah's suicide ability.
>>
>>285586732
If I recall correctly, the clones he makes split his strength between them evenly, don’t they? So I suppose that if it turns out that all these clones created from his sacrifice are all equivalent to him at full power, then it would be worthy of being his actual strongest skill.

He's kind of in a bad spot here. If his attack has some intangible property, Hakuren just cuts through it effortlessly like he did a black hole and magic words. If it relies on physical force, Hakuren will just Niko style and ignore it. The only win condition Zahah has here is getting Hakuren tired because there's nothing he has that would work at this point.

The Sun Cult is over-strained, they can't just give away resources to random people when they're fighting all bloodlines at once. Either you join the cause or you fend off by yourself.
>>
>>285581538
The fucking humanity. Sun cult is the last and only hope for human race to continue its existence as anything other than dragon food. Sun cult cannot even defend their capital against a proper bloodline attack, without Ragna they would be evaporated on contact. And they ARE the one and only hope humanity has.
The real question is why the rest of the humanity isn't donating every single resource, every drop of blood they posses to the sun cult.
>>
>>285586504
If he has to use this move, that means he already lost. Therefore, it makes more sense that this move is to annoy/delay the opponent and buy time for his allies to escape than to score a double kill.
I believe this is more "his clones will keep regenerating until the blood runs out to keep the enemy occupied" than "create a shitton of clones once to overwhelm and kill the opponent".

Easy to say, but almost no average person is going to willingly volunteer themselves as a meatshield or guinea pig for the Cult. And I assume that Sun Saint will die, but it won't devolve into a full civil war like in Ragna's previous timeline. But they'll probably be left weak enough that it'll be just Ruoxi coming along with Ragna.

The hole to Japan exists for Ragna to chase the Roar survivors through and find his next victims.

Because they are harboring a strain of humanity that is incapable of fighting back and should be exterminated wholesale because their only form of existence in a dragon infested world is cattle and no matter what they cannot fight back, worse yet it is hereditary. Wouldn't surprise me if Sigmalio was the one who made the silver intolerance gene.

>I'm guessing the average person doesn't know that the Sun Cult is responsible for the creation of two Bloodline monarchs?
Do you mean average sun cultist? Considering the Sun Saint kept yelling about the Command Saint earlier in the battle if they didn't know before they know now. All Time Saint clones know about Artemisia and that one clone spoke about her pretty casually so it might be well known too.
The average person in the world? Definitely no there, but I'd imagine anyone with any decent knowledge of the cult would know.

Oh, and to be fair to the cult they recruit all of the most powerful people, so they are the best place to look for powerful humans to become new dragon monarchs.

Obviously, there is a reason Ragna and Crimson are teaming up with the Sun Cult. The Roars Bloodline is accelerating the completion of World Magic; that alone is pretty bad.
But if we're specifically talking about being reduced to things you grow on a farm, there is Chapter 76 and its implications.
>>
>>285591989
It can't be so simple. Hakuren has already effortlesly blitzed dozens of Skirim clones and the real one too, two chapters ago. Let alone not a single hit managed to put a dent on Hakuren.
These ones must have some weird hax. Something like "if you defeat a clone the same damage you did to it would happen to your body".

I wonder how much of the messed up shit in the Sun Cult were suggested by Crimson.

>Crimson has been working on ending the dragon bloodlines for multiple time loops.
>Is a dragon himself with zero morality, willing to use anybody or anyone as a tool for his own goals.
>From the start of the Sun Cult arc its established that he's already infiltrated their highest ranks.
>His false identities special gimmick is precognition, so he's in a prime position to be an advisor on how the cult needs to be run.
This is a really good catch, it's probably gonna turn out to be true. Lines up too well to be a coincidence.

The claw user can decide the power of their claw?
>>
>>285598937
Yeah, no shit. Males don't make more humans but they eat. When the situation is so dire that any human that is incapable of fighting dragons is a literal dead weight threatening the existence of the entire race there are not many options. Sun cult isn't good, it is a hellish place that turns humans into ammo and their corpses into more ammo and yet Cult still doesn't enjoy an abundance of resources and the enemy is simply overwhelming. Even when they ration everything including the right to live they can just barely scrap by. Regardless of that Cult is the only hope humanity has left, all other options ends in some variation of cattle or plain extermination of humanity. This is just how fucked the world is. If you want to blame someone, blame the fucking dragons.
>>
>>285606214
The ability is probably just created naturally based on the wielder without their choice
>>
>>285603196
The consequences of dragonification and loss of humanity are not even the main issue here. Manager is retarded if he thinks Sigmalio isn't living in his ass but that is only half of the problem. Dragon God allows the existence of his little restaurant, that alone is proof enough that they all are doomed.

But how did he know that his claw has a special power that activates after its user's death?
>>
>>285606422
Of course. I never meant to insinuate otherwise.
My point is simply that it comes across as odd to deride Dragons for raising humans on farms and camps, when the good guys are doing the same. Are we focusing on what each group is trying to accomplish through those acts, or are we focusing on the acts themselves?
>>
>>285607104
the former, dragons grow humans for food/amusement/magic completion, Sun cult grows humans to evolve them into living weapons and have them exterminate all dragons.
>>
>>285585239
I don't think so, but the objectively correct practice is to make up a headcanon, and if it turns out wrong quietly switch to correct pronoun as if it always been this way
>>
>mass rape breeding factories aren't inherently bad
>mass indoctrination isn't inherently bad
>Ragna is an irrational, whiny sop for disliking the Sun Cult's tendencies that directly lead to their fall in the Future Timeline
Once you've debased yourself past a certain level, it's pointless to go further. The Sun Cult went further. Crimson went further. Ragna is someone who can rein in their absolute worst tendencies, and that contribution matters just as much as Ragna's strength.
>>
>>285608623
Who are you quoting? nobody is saying that, quite the opposite. Sun cult is hell, it is inhuman, torturous and dystopian but considering the situation they are not only justified, they are correct. Crimson's mindset was the proper reaction to the situation as humanity was getting murderfucked to death with no way out, even now with Ragna the true miracle final solution on his hands they are scraping for resources and time. Abolition of the cult will come after the last dragon dies, for now its efficiency is not just necessary but mandatory for humanity to have even a sliver of hope.
If Ragna succeeds in defending Amen it could cause a re-branding of the cult but it wouldn't really change its nature, Crimson's creation of the silver aura armor allows rapid expansion of highly effective soldiers and If he can equip every second class believer with it, the tide will truly shift, but these second class believers are the result of Cult's brutal regimen. On top of that he needs manufacturing, resource procurement and all other fun stuff that comes with managing the supply chain, mass brainwashed fanatics are simply too good for high stress labor.
Ragna can whine and cry but without these policies he would be already dead, nugget would never see the light of day and "humanity" would change its meaning into a "crunchy snack".

I, for one, think that manager-san's plan for Amen is doomed the moment either Sigmalio, Tenran or the DG themselves find out.

In fact I find it incredibly hypocritical of them to build a bastion while allowing the slaughter of humanity. Pick one or the other, you cannot have both.

>>285609599
I wonder if Ugly could force a Carla tier reaction out of Crimson if she scores a few more wins against him.
>>
>>285611192
Better yet. It's really dumb to build a direct tunnel to the enemy base inside your own and not expect them to come running through to slaughter your own people while you're busy. If this arc doesn't end with the Machine Dragon having done just that, Sigmalio is a retard.
