If he has to use it, it means his opponent is definitely above him so I doubt that summoning 100+ more of himself would really make a difference in the end. This is the kind of setting where there are gaps between skill levels that are hard to overcome. Like, I'm imagining Moon Blade used this on Lightning God Kamui and all his clones are still going to get speed blitzed into ashes. So he can't use this move because he's either stronger than his opponent using his normal skill level and suicide isn't necessary. But if he pops it, at most he might stall his opponent for a bit as they chew through him like a wood shredder. I doubt that the Ageless Swordsman is going to die here, just spend 60 seconds mopping up his former colleague.
