Mental out would be where it is now in 2 years instead of 4 and the Past arc would have only been 2.5 years longs instead of 5. Index is the worst offender, we've had 3 seasons of anime vs 19 years of manga and in 3 years the manga will finally catch up to the anime.That said, I feel like the past arc and Mental Out arc could have been waaay cut down without losing much in terms of characters. The Dorm Supervisor vs Kihara fight in MO was 5 months long and the Past arc spent 4 months on fighting Spark Signal. If they insist on releasing monthly then it is torture that they pace it like its a weekly shounen. They used to understand this, the Level Upper arc was 16 chapters and the Sisters arc was 22, the Past arc is like 50.
