I think Yuji will go through a new phase as a character. He will rediscover his calling as a sorcerer and realise that he cannot act independently of the world around him. Honestly, I think it's a good idea. It prevents him from going through the same problem as Gojo, being an entity that can solve everything, and it prevents the character from stagnating and losing personality, as happens in many sequels.
