Baki takes something weird and escalates it into being absurd, all the while still "making sense" in its own fighting manga logic so to speak. Baki pulls off the most ridiculous stuff but it also makes the reader go along with its bullshit. It always takes itself extremely seriously even when it knows it's bullshitting you, but that makes it endearing. It also has a great cast of characters.
