I was hoping that I would find a thread for this on here, I stayed up late last night just to catch the premiere because I adore Halloween adjacent shows. It’s very solid; fun premise, great visuals and cute humor- it’s by far the best out of all of Prismation's pilots that they've dropped and I can see it being a very enjoyable full series.
Every thread deserves at least one response, but unfortunately /a/ doesn't really care about ONA's that much

>>285688710I've been following Project Prismation since the first pilot. This is the third of the three series in this project, and the only one where the collaborator is actually Japanese. Fun concept, daughter of a Dracula parody and a Sadako parody. The first thing I thought of was that it had to be inspired by Tokimeki Tonight when it has a daughter of two supernatural creatures inheriting traits from both. What I'll say about The Horrors' Horror Home is that it's the idea with the most potential. Poppin-Play Kitchen is the strongest pilot I'd say. Short and effective, it portrays the concept very well. The catchy theme song perfectly harmonizing with the distinct, whimsical style. Dropping hints about what the show is really about while slowly revealing the horror underneath the surface. But the future of this series will largely depend on where they take this concept. It's very easy to mess up. Gluttomy is definitely the weakest of the three pilots. It doesn't do much of anything besides exposition and imply future horror. Plus it looks like there will be heavy BL which doesn't appeal to me.

>>285695977I thought Poppin-Play Kitchen was going to be another tacky "scary thing in usually kid-friendly stuff" set-up, but I gave it a chance today thanks to your post and it's surprisingly neat. I was taken aback by how gruesome the girl getting compressed into kitchenware was. I'm not sure how a series would work, the premise seems better for a video game or short film, but I think it has good legs. Perhaps the way the characters were stylized took me out of it the most, even though I love unique and cartoony designs. Gluttomy looks like genuine instagram-weaboo sludge though, I don't think I can be paid to watch it in full.
