DE could be more interesting if there were more "equal" DE clashes, cause as it is its either it works and the character wins or the enemy has an anti-domain move meaning it didn't have a significant effect. Megumi vs. Dagon could have led to a pretty interesting clash if he had a completed his since it would be a clash of multiple shikigami to see who can coordinate their own better.
