He's not on the same plane of disrepect that Adams and 4000 years of China got, but he was a designated loser even in the opening moves of the fight. Second. I don't think Toda would match up against Yasuke whose defense was able to counter one of the heaviest hitters in the entire tournament. Isshun might lose purely because Toda's animosity tilts him but anyone that compare and push Jinsuke as hard as he did is formidable. Honda just outranges Toda as well as having more strength and better combat sense than Kotaro. Togo is probably the only favorable matchup and even then, he's a 1-hit KO opponent. He lands his slash and Toda is dead. The thing you have to accept is that Toda is in fact the underdog in the bracket. He's one of the oldest by far without Kami's gate rejuvenation to back him up. And he's physically the weakest as the man couldn't even wield a proper katana and stuck with the Nodachi. His only victories would have probably been against Adams and that's sadly it. Maybe a 50:50 matchup against Hanzo as he won't fall as easily misdirection given his omni-directional senses. He just didn't have the speed or strength to really keep up with most of the roster.
