Which is funny because this game basically has both of those elements yet still manages to have interesting characters scheming and backstabbing one another. So why is it so hard for fantasy anime?

I have a dream that one day FF8 will get adapted into an anime that deviates from the source material and goes all in on R=U. FF8 is pure chuuni kino, it has the best aesthetics of any FF game and there's so much potential to adapt it's world and characters into a genuinely great story.

Ramza would have made him a favor instead of letting him live on his mountain of lies and making everyone around him miserable. Then again something similar happens in Tactics Ogree which is a game with the same developer. A well-rounded ending is always better. Today I feel they would try to gaslight into whitewashing what Delita does.
