Is there a term in Japanese for these kinds of mascot characters like Kyubey, Kero, Turbo Granny (Forma Maneki Neko), Reborn, etc?Not necessarily evil ones, just funny talking animals or chibis or what have you that serve as mentors to other characters while obviously being highly merchandisable?Post mascots, I guess.
