>>285736310Definitely not the anime. Even just talking about Yuuki as the one we get the most insight on, she actually shows emotions throughout the story. The manga may exaggerate them here and there, but she's not a robot and neither is anyone else. The anime's characters are so muted that they couldn't even adapt the entire story and had to cut overt outbursts like Chie's when she got voted to be melted at the end of the last episode because it would have completely ruined the tone.
