>>285728169>Government He's the victim here
>>285728169>Aliens force open your border>Revolt with your friends and allies>Lose horribly but never lose your samurai spirit.Yes and? I think you are thinking way too hard about what Gintama is about.
>>285728169God I love Gintoki *slurps on his manly samurai chinpo*
>>285728169Women would never understand
>>285728169>"I am the victim here"He never begged for pity though? He just moved on with his life and founded a business. Where are you getting this from?
>>285728169Wasn’t even his idea to fight iirc
>>285728169>"I am the victim here"Even if the world he now has to live in is not what he wanted, he moved on with his life and found new people to live and fight for. Gintoki's attitude is perfectly respectable.
That's like saying the jews should stop crying about the holocaust, since it's their fault for geting tortured and slaughtered.
>>285729165It's been almost 100 years and no one who went through it should last another 10.MOVE ON
>>285729165Cool tragedy, still not relevant to any modern events or living people
>"Have sex"
>>285728169he never said that, he was sad that his friends had to resort to becoming terrorists
>>285728169>anti-government chimpoutI know what you are.

>>285729165Christians lost 10x more than JewsIrish slaves outnumbered Africans slaves by almost 5xThey stop crying because it got them nothing. And because they got over it, their culture actually healed.Jews are not just stuck in WW2.They are stuck in 70AD, and still crying about Daniel's prophecy (The messiah would come before the temple destruction)
>>285729165They should stop kvetching because it never happened.
>>285729165>since it's their faultit unironically was.

>>285729944Hi Gintoki, reminder that gintama never floundered and the final arcs were all at least a 8/10 and utsuro was kino from start to finish, and sorachi was never at fault for anything. in your heart you know it to be true. Also what are some recs you have for other kinos on par with gintama?
I watched the first four seasons of the anime until there was a hiatus that lasted several years and loved it at the time, like more than 10 years ago. Then years later I watched 70 more episodes when it was announced that the manga was nearly over and that the anime would adapt everything. But after that I stopped because I kind of got sick of it. I'm going to keep watching the series later but I need to say this, one of the main reasons why watching the last episodes I watched became a lot less fun is because of the very repetitive OST kind of ruining scenes. Instead of watching a funny scene and laughing I watched one of them and the exact same track with the exact same timing as usual three times per episode and it was grating.
>>285731983Too bad, Gintama has great music.>https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCZSSZryuFpLIQVV1dKcPOIA
>>285732058The music being great doesn't change the fact that the studio recycles the same tracks over and over again, at some point it's annoying and distracting.
>>285731637Even if an ember remains....
>>285729165>>285728169why is 4chan PURE ragebait, and why are there still fags that dont get that?
>>285731800I will never really like Utsuro, read Golden Kamuy, it's not quite the same since it's a seinen but the comedy and the serious moments are great, in that sense is similar to Gintama.
>>285731983the bamco seasons have worse production values and you're not the first one noticing it, still worth watching though
>>285731983That's why some would recommend considering reading the manga. Not every episode can have a good director or staff with healthy schedules, but you have sorachi working on each chapter of the manga.
>>285732521That's okay but I believe your take on him can be revised by opening your mind and rereading the arcs. :D as I've stated before, his thematic writing seems to largely have been overlooked by those who dislike him.Imo Golden Kamuy is inferior to gintama in every way but it is definitely in the top one percentile of manga and perhaps some anons will take your rec and that is a good thing.I'm still waiting on the next author that has such a strong unique charm that it just stabs into you. That could have been jujutsu kaisen if he were paired with a secondary writer who could actually write characters maybe. The gege+gorilla combo existed in another timeline, but we don't live in it...
>>285732702Gintama must be the only popular shounen whose English manga release was cancelled half-way through and never picked up.
>>285732765>:D
>>285732765Supposedly the gorilla is writing a new manga called Raikō
>>285732909Damn I'll have to Google that ASAP! Thanks gintoki! I wonder what took him so long though. I doubt the newer serializations were cockblocking him as the quality of new series is just lower and lower year by year. Maybe he needed a long break. Or did years of on and off researching and plotting (the plot) so his return to weekly will be less torturous. I'm quite sure there was a period where he was simultaneously storyboarding the 2nd movie, the upcoming longer arcs, and the weekly gag chapters he was doing (and at other times in place of the movie there were oneshot projects he was a part of.) hopefully he never pees as much blood as he did during those days ever again
>>285732854The based homosexual thread is down the street.
>>285732909Bruh that was social media grifters making an April fool's jokeFor putting me through that you should sometime consider rereading a few of the arcs with utsuro. Just give it a thought no need to promise
>>285733079
>>285733079I will reread the whole manga someday.
>>285733145Wow. You did it on purpose? That's pretty low.
>>285733188Nice.
>>285731983>>285732093never watched gintama, but fate apocrypha had a similar problemthe ost is amazing and full of character, but at some point they started spamming the motif so much it started feeling empty and forced and as such detracted from the experience
