If you're new to Type Moon and you only have a passing familiarity with Fate, you'll think it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. After reading Tsukihime, you'll realize how underutilized it is in comparison to the Fate parts. After reading the Take Moon manga that the anime was based on, you'll hate how the director went out of his way to skip a lot of Tsukihime scenes, ruin parts if they involved characters he didn't like and add lolrandum anime-original parts that don't fit in at all.
