They both were forced into roles they didn't want to play, terrified of losing and dying, unable to break free from the gods' tyranny in deciding what destiny awaited them. Victims of fate who fought because that was what the gods decided they should do. It's surprisingly compelling, but this nuance is often lost on most readers of Hollow Ataraxia, and the meme's become this odd idea that Nasu hates Perseus when Medusa's hatred and insults are actually her condemning herself as much as she condemns Perseus. Medusa is a Shinji at heart.

Only the Nemean Lion Pelt and Immortality of Chiron seem to be at full strength, of the NPs we've seen so far.

He's a jack-of-all-trades, master-of-none, and some of his NPs are kind of niche in their applications, given to him primarily for the specific purpose of dealing with Medusa and little else, and even then he struggled. He's not WEAK, but he lived in an era during which there were like two or three dozen guys who can do just as well as he could or better.
