They usually has the NP arsenal they would usually have as knight class + a steed NP. What a bargain in exchange for some stat reduction
It’s almost free if your summoned hero is famous to the point the stat nerf barely matters

Rider or Caster. They have the most variants in terms of Servants.
>>
>>285733433
Out of the Standard Classes? Caster.
Assassin and Berserker are kinda screwed by their "Rules" but are fun when they get to work around them (IE:Nightingale). The Knight Classes and Rider are kinda boring on average even with Archer being lenient as fuck. Casters are fun on average and even if they don't really get to win outside of FGO they usually get to have the most fun rides.

I actually like Avenger the best, but i recognize it is actually a pretty fucking terrible class for everyone involved, but i like how they are characterized on average when they get PoVs.

>Despite his fearsome reputation, he encountered a few defeats which he makes no secret of, including almost dying fighting against Holy Church Executors, getting outwitted by the freelance Magus Kairi Sisigou, he had one of his lungs gouged out by Magalo, a member of Der Familie, had most of his Magic Circuits burned by Brother Degras, and he fought to a draw with Wu from the Marble Trading Company. At one point his lover’s head was dumped at his feet to taunt him. Despite his ordeals, Bazdilot was seemingly mentally unaffected throughout.

Assassin even if they're shitters, mainly the Fuyuki ones, because the concept of Servants of this class being different aspects of the same individual is cool as fuck.
Also Casters because I like mages. Anytime I play a fantasy RPG I make a mage character, so I feel drawn by them. Sad most of them aren't true mages, but I still think the whole concept is pretty nice, making bases, creating minions etc.

If Heracles knows what he means it's going to work.
Actually, I think he doesn't even need to know what it means as long as Bazdilot himself knows what he wants, because in Zero Kiritsugu shouted his command at the heavens instead of addressing it to Saber ("I order my servant to do X")
>>
>>285734596
Weird poetical commands work on the context of them. Depending on the point of view somehting like ''accepting the nature'' is more concentrated than ''obey all commands''. ''Defeat X'' is a buff for the duration of a battle even though it's essentially a vague command.

Even in Hollow Ataraxia we can see Nasu and Medusa do sympathize with Perseus to some extent. Medusa's flashback talks about how he was a hero that was selected to kill her by the gods. His personal wishes as a person were discarded to push him onto the course to slay Medusa. He was basically treated like a sacrificial lamb by both the gods and humanity, an empty vessel who had no purpose other than to throw his life away facing the greatest of dangers. But that's also why Medusa hates him so much, she couldn't accept that Perseus didn't really feel much when he fought her other than fear that he might die against such an overwhelmingly dangerous enemy. We can read between the lines that she wanted the person who finally cut her down to be someone who met her personal definition of heroism - someone completely the opposite of herself, who didn't flinch at any danger and did the right thing because it was the right thing to do.
In short, Medusa hates Perseus because he's a twisted reflection of herself. They both were forced into roles they didn't want to play, terrified of losing and dying, unable to break free from the gods' tyranny in deciding what destiny awaited them. Victims of fate who fought because that was what the gods decided they should do.
It's surprisingly compelling, but this nuance is often lost on most readers of Hollow Ataraxia, and the meme's become this odd idea that Nasu hates Perseus when Medusa's hatred and insults are actually her condemning herself as much as she condemns Perseus. Medusa is a Shinji at heart.
>>
>>285735693
It's just meant to show his unrelenting determination. Which is ultimately a cheat, because of the way his magecraft works, but it's meant to display how he is unwavering in the face of every defeat, and also that he doesn't underestimate opponents anymore because he's learned that lesson well.

Thing is that with so many servants they had multiple wishes. Darnic even claims early on the noval that at 2~3 servants you get to make a wish, just not a bullshit reality warping one or Root reaching.
Both Amakusa and Sieg got wishes of the grail, the difference is Sieg and Astolfo survived to the end.
It isn’t dubious like the previous war that Amakusa was the surviving servant but Darnic the surviving master with the grail.

Yeah and apparently much more since Jeanne was fearing the Darnic-Dracula fusion was so warped their wish would somehow distort into a disaster upon Romania.

His statline didn’t change much (while in the VN all of Herk’s stats had a glowing bar as if to indicate madness boost, later it was exposed he wasn’t under the boost at all in the previois fights so they miggt be higher)
So it’s more on depending whether God Hand or King’s Orders is the better one. I prefer the latter since while Alcides is actively refusing to use his stuff to the maximum because of the god hate, it gives him a lot of versatility. Whereas God Hand is unreliable, on paper it makes Herk an unstoppable monster, in practice it behaves weirdly to high power attacks and NPs.
So while Alcides should be physically weaker and easier to kill, in practice he has a lot to work with.
>>
>>285736848
He's described as a sidegrade in the novels. He lost his Divinity and Godhand, along with all associated benefits (like the Divinity-powered Anti-Fortress Nine Lives technique he would normally use). But the Holy Grail gave him King's Order as a substitute for Godhand, and he's able to use the human curses in the grail mud and the hydra venom he gets from being poisoned to empower his maximum output Nine Lives instead. He also gained access to a new NP, Reincarnation Pandora, which lets him steal other NPs.
He also got a stat reduction and lost Eye of the Mind (False), which came from his divine instincts. Instead his experience as a human warrior has come to the forefront, so he got (True) as a replacement. Bravery was also nerfed into the ground, but Battle Continuation was boosted due to his humanlike sheer refusal to die. Basically Alcides is weaker overall but more cunning than the usual Herc. He can also use the grail mud itself as an attack to corrupt other Servants.
>>
>>285737009
At least it confirms that he doesn't spawn with the busted Nemean Pelt as an Archer.
>>
>>285736915
iirc he sped up the transformation (as becoming Fafnir would make it viable to cross to the Reverse Side) or just wished a mean to cross over.
After he reached the Reverse Side with the grail, mankind got “out of range”. Amakusa’s wish changed nobody when it was completed while as the new Fafnir, Sieg would live for eons guarding the grail.
>>
>>285736970
He does not normally possess the pelt of the Nemean Lion. As a Servant he usually only brings two noble phantasms, God Hand and Nine Lives.
God Hand is better than you seem to think it is, because Herc doesn't just rely on it to tank hits. He is still a godlike warrior who is hard to even damage. God Hand just means if you manage to kill him even despite that, it's nearly meaningless. Herc just can't be overcome.
>>
12 different NPs sounds impressive until you remember most of the guys Alcides fought in FSF just shrugged them off and he still had to resort to good old Nine Lives as well as spamming his new toy Pandora NP

VN’s stats. They are so close to Alcides’ that I question if the ME is in effect here. It doesn’t make sense for so little change from Alcides to Berserker Hercules.
>>
>>285737119
The SF novels talk about what sane Servant Herc's usage of Godhand would be like, a bit. He would actually use it so he can have fights with other Servants without having to worry about going all out to win. It'd allow him to enjoy a HGW to the fullest because even if someone surprises him with an NP, he'll just lose a life or two and carry on. Basically the reward for the Twelve Labors is that he can relax and enjoy himself in any HGW he's summoned in, test every hero to see what they can really do, and still have high odds of winning the war even though he's taking it lightly. Because Alcides doesn't have that NP he has to be far more careful even when he's only 'testing' opponents because it would only take one unlucky hit to land and he's dead.
>>
Just watched the latest episode. Am I supposed to know what the fuck is going on with Lancer and the Watcher shit. And I say this as a person who has watched all the other Fate and played FGO and am pretty familiar with Fate in general.

Also how is the Blonde master of Berserker able to see something that his own servant can't see, the black fog?
>>
>>285737178
While true he does mention once a while the NPs are gimped.
Also I see the advantage more on how to use them. Horse, birds and so on. If they were all powerful little would change from just Nine Lives. Hell it’d be redundant to Nine Lives at it.
>>
>>285736848
Heracles is very strong, but his power remains constant from start to finish and consumes less mana than Alcides because he is never summoned with all his NP, making him a very complete servant.
Alcides loses some of that power at the beginning and has several of his np in exchange for consuming a lot of mana, but his power scale is practically limitless if he uses Pandora well.
Basically, one has a steeper learning curve, but the greater the reward if he plays his cards right.

>>
>>285737178
Pretty much all of the King's Order NPs are nerfed in some way as well, heavily reducing their usefulness. Even the ones that aren't lacking their full power like Cerberus and the Stymphalian Birds cost many times more mana to activate, which would be a death sentence in normal conditions. The Horses of Diomedes are also far less useful to him because he lacks Riding in this class. It's only because Buzzcola has infinite mana crystals to fuel him with that Alcides can use King's Order without crippling his own mana supply. Ares' War Belt is only nerfed technically because Alcides rejects the stat-boosting effect because he doesn't want to take its divinity into his body, but it still counts. Only the Nemean Lion Pelt and Immortality of Chiron seem to be at full strength, of the NPs we've seen so far.

Huh, I don't remember him wishing for the sped up transformation. But yeah, Amakusa's wish still couldn't be stopped and Sieg technically had to "off" himself.
>>
Also if Archer Herk fought John, the Hydra dagger would 100% killed him. Alcides had to use the grail mud to contain it.
>>
>>285737333
Weren't Cerberus and the birds nerfed initially because of the lack of divinity, since they're divine beasts and tied to the gods?
I think Hippo mentioned that the birds look closer to their original forms after he absorbed Gugalanna.
>>
>>285737119
Godhand has been nerfed by Nasu since its introduction, the fact that Berserker Herc keeps jobbing over and over while having 12 lives makes it not that impressive. In fact it makes Herc look bad in general because he somehow keeps losing with so many lives while other servants just have one.
>>
>>285737437
He mentions it’d kill through the 12 lives and all. How ironic cause if he had that weakness back in the VN, there’d be no reason to repeatedly nerf God Hand through the franchise
>>
>>285737439
The Birds are nerfed because Alcides has no Divinity, while Cerberus is nerfed from a Divine Beast to a mere Phantasmal Species because Hades has withdrawn his blessings on account of Alcides cursing the gods.

The grail mud didn't do anything but serve as a vessel for the poison so he can attack with it. He used the Immortality of Chiron to gain immunity to the hydra venom in exchange for suffering mind-rending agony. One of those things where if he still had Bravery at high rank, he'd be far better off due to it granting near-immunity to effects like that. Trade-offs everywhere you look.

>>
>>285737747
The guy used a catalyst to summon Herk.
You only summon someone with your personality without a catalyst like what Prelati did.
>>
>>285737747
>That first question he asks Heracles, if he'd be able to kill a child if it meant winning the war and Heracles responds if you knew my history you would know asking that is risking your life. What does he mean by that, as in he would never do that?
It means not only would he never do that, anyone who asks a question like that is gambling with his life if they're not just joking. Herc draws the line at killing kids no matter who his master is or how 'justified' they might be.
>Doesn't the grail match you up with someone like you?
Only if you don't have a catalyst to summon a specific hero with. Baz used a catalyst to get Herc. Then he spent his Command Spells and used the grail mud to transform Herc into Alcides, an Alter who is far more compatible with Baz and his methods.
>>
>>285737586
To be fair like 2~3 of those could have been skills
>>
>>285737861
I thought using all 3 command spells means you're out of the game and you lose your contract with your servant? Don't you need the last one to make them kill themselves or something?
>>
>>285737811
Archer Herc would have Eye of the Mind (False) which lets him perceive threats that shouldn't be possible to perceive or predict with the information he has. Such as the hydra venom. Alcides was operating purely on what he could predict, and got blindsided because of that. Alcides of course throws shade at his divine self saying he wouldn't see it coming, but I consider that a doubtful claim overall.
>>
>>285737437
Not exactly, Alcides isn't sure how Hydra Venom would've interacted with God Hand, he says it might've burned through all lives. It still wouldn't have killed him, the poison is peak pain, but not high on damage potency. It's meant to drive you to suicide.

>>285737321
Gil's a natural counter for Zerk Herc though. Since he has infinite NP's to whittle down a guy that only has defense while his offense is sealed.
>>
>>285737886
Losing the 3 command spells means you're at the mercy of your servant. You can't do anything if they disobey or kill you.
>>
>>285737850
Technically yes, but the affinity still determines the aspect of the servant even if it’s with a catalyst (like Jack being more murderous in Apo). Hercules has many qualifications after all.
Makes me wonder if there is a deeper reason he got Archer Herk, a glorious honorable upstanding hero. Like, wouldn’t he have gotten Alcides by default otherwise?
>>

>>
>>285737886
Using all three doesn't void the contract technically, but it does mean any other Master can establish a contract with the Servant if the Servant agrees to it. It's normally a completely stupid idea, but Baz made sure to transform Herc into someone that would prefer him over any other Master. Or rather, Alcides is someone that needs Baz and his mana crystal supply, so no other Master would work (except maybe for ones with infinitely massive mana reserves like Ayaka, but Ayaka would never agree to Alcides' methods).
>>
>>285737747
The grail filter through catalyst first, personality second. If the catalyst is specific enough, personality might not matter much.
For instance using a shard of the Round Table would match an Arthurian knight with similar personality.
>>
>>285737974
You are also at a big disadvantage because cs have more uses than just making your Servant obey your orders.

No/depends on the setting/only in EXTRA
Command Spells =/= Master Contract =/= Master Authority. There is an intersection but you just lose fixed orders.
Remember in Heaven’s Feel how Medusa was still Sakura’s servant? It’s like that. The opposite also holds as in LB7, Guda could recover the CS, but he had to reclaim the Master Authority from Tezcatlipoca
>>
>>285737747
>Doesn't the grail match you up with someone like you?
Only if you are smart enough not to use a catalyst. Catalysts force a particular hero to be summoned.
>>
>Ishtar is such a bitch most of the casts jumped at her
Lol
>>
>>285738175
So one is given by outside means while the other is gained through experience.
There's no difference other than how you get the skill?
>>
>>285738128
>Alcides has the True version of Eye of the Mind though? Is there any difference between False and True?
Yes. (False) is a supernatural instinct to avoid danger, a 'sixth sense' that goes beyond the other five senses. (True) is the culmination of fighting experience and knowledge that allows one to predict the flow of battle, allowing you to better overcome threats that emerge. (False) is a voice in your head saying "don't approach the enemy, they have a way of killing you", (True) is "You've seen enough of their fighting style that you can plan 50 steps ahead in this fight, seeing how you can lose and how you can win. And if something unexpected occurs, you have X Y and Z contingencies you can use to survive."
(True) is Batman's fighting predictions, (False) is Spidey-sense.
>>
>>285738253
There is a difference. If you have False and fight Artoria while she has Excalibur hidden in Invisible Air, you can actually manage to avoid blows from the sword and anticipate where it's coming from. If you have True you'd have to have seen it in action before to understand how it works, so you're technically pushed on the back-foot because you never fought against it.
>>
>>285738195
Vague catalyst like a piece of Round Table seems to be the best option because it will give you a personality compatible Servant from a high quality pool.
It's like rolling the surewin gacha. You get an SSR regardless.
>>
>>285738326
Has invisible air ever actually caught anyone off guard. Every Lancer and even Fake Assassin is able to figure out the length pretty much immediately
>>
>>285738253
The difference is bigger than that. (False) works at any time, against any opponent, because it's prescience of threats. It doesn't need a functional mind to work either since it's an instinct, so Berserkers gain the full benefit from it. (True) requires a functional mind and understanding of the enemy to formulate useful predictions, but it can extend much further than simply responding to immediate threats.
If you want a good example of this in action, see EMIYA for use of (True) and Kojiro for use of (False). Kojiro could respond to every attack Saber made, but he couldn't predict that his sword would get bent when he tried to set up for Tsubame Gaeshi. EMIYA can see 40 steps ahead in a duel with Saber, but he can't plan for Medusa taking off her blindfold and petrifying him because he didn't know she could do that.
One more example of the differences is (False) lets you dodge threats you can't see, like Kojiro blocking Invisible Air, but (True) doesn't help at all against those kinds of disadvantages because it only works with what you can already perceive and understand.

NTA and I’m glad you asked:
False runs more on instincts, True runs on your perception. This is best illustrated comparing Hercules in the Fate Route to Alcides against the Police:
>after Archer kills him many times over, Illya orders him to go after Saber by dawn after recovering some lives. Herk still willed out to be against it, feeling that if he had to fight Saber in the forest he had to be in the best of his conditions. He didn’t explain why, he only felt it.
>he was right. He didn’t connect the dots that Shirou and Rin would restore her capabilities but he somehow discerned that would happen
>when Alcides fights the policeman with the Hydra Dagger he didn’t know that. He did feel a huge danger and got cautious. Then his reasoning kicked in: Alcides detected some danger to himself, feeling it was from the Age of Gods, discerning it was Hydra Poison. Not sure on how or why, but he soon noticed the policeman’s center of gravity was different, by the position he realized he had some short weapon coated in Hydra Poison that was deadly to him
>Alcides was right but it was all from information he got from 5 senses and connected the dots via logic
>>
>>285737707
A few who got kidnapped by faeries iirc
>>
>>285738128
One is talent and one is experience basically.
Alcides only has True probably because he renounced his divine lineage, whereas Herk only has False because he lost his sanity.

Less divinity but this doesnt matter because what makes Heracles a gigachad is his will and martial skill which remains the same
Alcides uses way more mana than Herc
Alcides tries to compensate for divinity with the versatility of grail mud. It's not as powerful, but it has its uses
Alcides has a stupid mana supply from Bazdilot. By volume 8 , he has as much power as archer herc on top of his versatility. Vol 9, he's taken so much of Bazdilot's mana that he's well above that. After absorbing Gugalanna, there's no contest

Darnic is either dead in the HGW or goes on to nuke his personality into oblivion to become the magus Yggdmillennia.
>If he never managed to get a hold of the Holy Grail and had simply lived as an ordinary magus, the personality of “Darnic Prestone” would have completely diluted away after living for two hundred years, until only a steel-like magus with the name “Yggdmillennia” was left.

Heracles in lore was forced into being a demigod. Gilgamesh would simply regard it as a sentence because his story is that was spoken. So for the same effect, it literally required Gilgamesh to be commanded by the highest Magecraft with absolute certainty of the words to be followed.

Apocrypha. In the most common timeline, (Angra summoned) all we know is that Sabers make it to the finals but there is no clear winner.

Siegfried or Sigurd. The former has a sword loaded with True Ether, the latter has a functional Dragon Core (so I wouldn’t need to activate it via gay sex), meaning neither should have nuch issue with mana. And both have really good swords.
From there is on deciding if the armor is better than AoG magic, but either of those things are really good and you fundamentally have a really good advantage to fight constantly or hit and run if necessary.
My choices for other classes keep in line this logic of prioritizing outlasting or being able to survive encounters to get knowledge over time, though I don’t have a specific choice for Caster since there are a lot of Casters to pick that are really good in paper for this purpose.

>>
>>285741362
Gilgamesh already accepts all of human nature with a scornful laugh. He doesn't have any hate for mankind or the gods, only "that which is unnecessary". So the modern humanity disgusts him, because it's so glutted with unnecessary things. But he has no need to give into hatred, and to all the evils of the world, he gives affirmation. "Yes, humans are like that, too".
>>
>>285741913
He can but Gil is prideful and likes to have fun. He'd use a weakness like that if he was really really bored or really really pissed. And in the latter case it still depends on his pride.
Notice how when he was fighting Artoria he could have just used Gram that has anti-dragon trait to screw her. Meanwhile against Cu Chulain he only pulled Caladbolg (in the anime) as a finisher after Cu was tied up in chains.

Correction that the Mooncell knows killing the White Titan as a monster will signalize another invasion that we'd lose, likely against the Older Brother or Younger Sister. Most likely this is why it sent Jeanne to Altera's team, as she could judge as a Ruler if Altera was truly a monster or not and act around that.
Nameless was salvaged from the timeline she was just killed off and after confirming we were on the right path treating her as a person, he could calm down knowing we wouldn't repeat the mistakes of his timeline.

>This is some peak bullshit though as the advent of the firearm is supposed to make it near impossible for people to become servants
You're conflating like six different things
Its the information age and mass media that made it near impossible for people to become heroic spirits, as all information became too widespread and normalized

The gun thing is just "Guns are never really NPs because there's nothing mystical about them and they're mass produced"
Guns have nothing to do with being a heroic spirit or not

There are plenty of heroic spirits who have guns, the gun is just basically never the NP itself
The NP is always their skill with the gun, or some anecdote or legend of a time when they used a gun. Like Nobunaga having their famous three line formation of guns to kill an army. The Np isn't the gun, the NP is the three line formation story.

Every pantheon has some strange origin now

Mesoamerican dieities are space bacteria
Greeks are mechs
Lovecraft alien gods are a thing but their origins are heavily changed so they're less impressive
Odin built half his pantheon on scraps from altera for some reason
Angels are like living mystic codes that posess people occasionally, although those are "magecraft angels" whatever that means. He says the real things may not exist in FGO world line, but that's basically admitting they do probably exist in Tsuki or other worldlines. The lore on them is more confusing the more you read.
Egyptian, Indian, and Japanese are normal so far
Egytptian ended up being a joke because Ozzymandias has the powers of every egyptian god, every egyptian item, every egyptian hero, because Sakurai deeply wanted him to be another version of Gilgamesh, but then he ends up jobbing a lot, and he doesn't even have the arrogance excuse
Case Files introduced the concept of god eaters which is just mages or people that ate a part of a god and have divine powers in the modern age
Chaos the greek god is a star system robot that sent the greek mechs to other planets to gain resources, but they forgot to ever come back, he's the size of a sun, but he was killed in one hit by Musashi

He also said in an interview later that angels don't exist in the world ''of magecraft'' and that if you dig deep enough in the church you may find something.
This is line with people theorizing the Abrahamic religion was ''outside'' the rules of other Mythologies. Whatever is in there is following its own set of rules, king of how Outer Gods have their own separate set of rules.
Not sure in how that differs from Mystic Code Angels since Metatron speaks as if she is this kind of weird angel Nasu teased. At very least Kadoc didn't seem to know the difference since he just repeated all that Nasu said that ''angels don't exist in magecraft'' even though they were being chased by them.

Ironically Indian pantheon was just done normally, which is what everyone basically wants done for their shit. They want characters done colorfully and in a fun way, without going full OC and going ACTUALLY EVERYONE IS ROBOTS

Because Nasu gave Minase control over Indian shit
Each writer basically controls their own pantheon. Skandanavian lore basically exists to wank celts for some retarded reason because that's what Sakurai wanted to do with them. Almost everything about Skandanavian lore originally existed to be filtered into wanking either Cu or Scath.

At least until one of the TM artists put their foot down and said "I want to do a full skandanavian war, to give them back some respect", the artist created designs for each of the Skandanavian heroes they wanted in the war, which created its own spinoff story that got one volume, but then Sakurai just randomly stopped writing it. Sakurai hasn't been seen for years now, not since OC2, its odd.

I think making them pathogens was actually rather appropriate. Teotl changes its form, that's the entire point of the human sacrifice that the Aztecs extolled so enthusiastically. And the fact that all their gods are animals makes it even better. Quetzatcoatl was literally a god-snake before becoming a god-human, Huitzilopochtli was actually a hummingbird, Mictlantecuhtli was actually a spider, etc.
It also matches perfectly to the teixiptla ritual of a man becoming Tezcatlipoca for a year.

There's a lot of official holy grail stories that are like one volume, and then the writer gets distracted and it never gets finished, or it was never really intended to be finished.

And then ten years later they're like "Oh right, we should actually do that". Which is also the reason FSF is over ten years old and is the original alt grail war story, despite only recently getting close to being finished.

Yeah there, that was, a theory. Now we can't be sure anymore.
At very least, magecraft for humans come from God, and now we know the Grand Orders the sociopathic mages are obsessed with following and refining magic all their ancestry ALSO come from God.
So ironically, the Mage Association and the Church should have been on the same side but they are at each other's necks.

>Angels are like living mystic codes that possess people occasionally, although those are "magecraft angels" whatever that means.
If we're talking "magecraft angels" as depicted in Case Files, those are not actual mages in any way, but the very concept of angels that is used as a favored paradigm for stabilizing magecraft. The same way some some lightning mage will base his spells on the myths of Thor or Zeus, or how some spiritist will pick any of the many afterlives as basis for their contact with spirits, angels in magecraft are essentially just part of a spell formula. Purely theoretical.

The reason angels are treated as 'special' within the context of magecraft, and why they're pretty popular for modern mages, is that in a world where abrahamic religion is widespread across the globe, angels as a concept are extremely stable in the collective consciousness, so your spells tend to be more reliable and last for longer if you create them around the invocation of an angel.

If we're talking real angels.... knowing Nasu, they're probably ayys.

So does that mean Metatron Jeanne is this case of Magecraft angel? Something that didn't exist btu started existing as it manifested because of the sheer magnitude of the concept?
Because OC4 implied her trial was actually something that had to happen and God willed it. Even if she was biased. Kirei only drew a line and attacked her the moment she claimed God hates people and said she was lying, which she was.
Felt like there was some divine connection here with the Abrahamic God, even if the other angels seem in the chapter were a bunch of robots.
>>
>>285744198
Väinämöinen as a caster since FGO has Louhi
>>
>>285744446
They actually implied and stated during the trial she was acting entirely outside of god's will, which is why Kotomine smiled during the trial, she was only acting within her own bias towards humanity, she was not acting out of duty for the lord.

This is because of her warped summoning that caused her to basically absorb the seven deadly sins upon manifesting in the world. She became fueled almost entirely by wrath and sloth, and she cut sloth out of herself because she saw it as useless.

No, like I remember people point out since the camera only zooned on Kirei's force smile when she said that, that only then it was going against it. As if even if God didn't order her or anything, the trial was still within what was allowed or needed to happen sooner or later.
And then she had weird myroom lines implying there is some divine will at play. Either that or she is crazy.

While I'm not sure which class he would fit. I always wanted to see a nasuverse take on Arsene Lupin. I think it's weird he hasn't even been referenced considering the phantom thief trope is pretty popular in japan. He doesn't even have to be a real person I'd even take a "he is a fictional character but he can be a heroic spirit because [insert bullshit here]" they do sometimes

Rider Theseus. The twist here is that instead of the over idealized version of Athens, this character is more of an anti-hero whose actions were controversial in his time, since some of the 6 villains he slain were local heroes. He has a sense of justice, but being young and rash, he didn't realize not everyone shared his vision of justice.

If Enkidu took on her appearance then that makes Enkidu a woman atleast physically

They say his features are masculine and feminine, he took the basic appearance from her being in a gender neutral form that had elongated arms and legs more like a man and no breasts

He mostly copied the general asthetic

Caster Solomon was my first fan servant. A peerless sorcerer who could conjure up to 72 angels and 72 demons with his silver ring (the Seal of Solomon). Of course manifesting that many forces with the magical energy of one master borders on impossible, in a normal holy grail war, with a normal master, he could only summon one angel or demon at a time and only once per day, and had to pick from the selection the most appropriate spirit to aid him. This still gave him a legendary flexibility, especially if he summons warrior-hero-level spirits such as Michael or Andras then he's basically two powerful servants in one.

Heroes on the level of Perseus are a dime a dozen in Ancient Greece. He's pretty mid-tier in that regard. He can't quite compare to the likes of Herakles, Achilles, Odysseus, Dioscuri, Orion, etc. In Fate, Perseus is basically treated as the guy who was given a bunch of divine tools for free to deal with a monster, but was still scared out of his gourd the whole time. He did manage to win, and he was probably more competent than anyone believed, but he's also carried by the sheer number of Noble Phantasms in his possession. He's a jack-of-all-trades, master-of-none, and some of his NPs are kind of niche in their applications, given to him primarily for the specific purpose of dealing with Medusa and little else, and even then he struggled. He's not WEAK, but he lived in an era during which there were like two or three dozen guys who can do just as well as he could or better.
