Whenever I'm in a car driving along the highway and there's lightpoles evenly spaced, or even the vertical poles holding up the guard rail, I imagine that the wheels of the car only touch down at the spaces in between the poles. Like I'll see the nice juicy middle of the rail and the front wheels tap down on the ground there then quickly lift off before the next pole, and then the rear wheels tap down in that spot while the front wheels arch over and tap the space in between the next set of poles, like a horse leaping hurdles or something.
