For me, it's the original FMA. It's more deeper and emotional, more of a seinen like Monster. Meanwhile that Brotherhood slop is more like Demon Slayer or Fairy Tail, juvenile trash for little kids who think muh loud noises and formulaic shonen fights and funny faces are "peak" fiction. In conclusion FMA 2003 = a grittier masterpiece that's more geared towards adults with stunning animation, Shittyhood = skibidi toilet tier.
