Doesn't help how Gojo was practically dominating the fight too, also doesn't help that Sukuna had to rely on 10S to find a reliable counter. Gege tried his best to respect Gojo's presence in the story but you don't do it by having him beat the shit out of Sukuna to the point where he starts feeling nervous, and then just kill the blue eye bug off with a surprise attack that kinda makes no sense.
