And unlike Hermit who just has pretty strong kung fu Odin has been training his entire life since he was in elementary school for this fight and with a Ryozanpaku esque level master in fist saint for at least a chunk of it.

I'm glad Kenichi keeps the skillset and advances with it to eventually make custom combos with it.

This manga vaguely reminds me of another one. I can't remember the title. It was about a city being made where duels were allowed/encouraged in order to make a "Martial Arts Mecca". Any citizens that have an issue with each other can fight and an official referee would just come out of nowhere to judge it. MC was a weak loser that got a personal maid that taught him jujitsu and advised him through his fights. Anyone else remember it?
