Faris was the seat of the old empire and Scarlett is descended from the imperial family. But it seems like this Daeg Gallis are also from Faris? And they're trying to ruin Adelbide. But Daeg Gallis also framed Scarlett. And the Sumire lady is allied to the old imperial line and thus the Castiels. And the Castiels have something to do with the Grail of Eris which is the macguffin in all this. Except Scarlett doesn't know what that is.Seems to me there's at least three sides to this. The current Adelbide royalty and the decadent families who want to keep the status quo. Outside insurgents disrupting the country so they can resurrect the old empire I guess? The actual old imperial lineage who guard the secret of the true bloodline. And maybe a fourth populist faction opposed to the aristocracy. All of them being deceptive and manipulative and playing dirty politics to get what they want.

She says that Cecilia put Rufus up to it and that she heads the charity organization that's managing the hospital since 1y ago. She trips and falls into Rufus and noticed this Rufus has weird eyes with 2 dots beside his left pupil.> Deleted scene - Abigail invited Connie and Randolph over to tell them that Aisha Huxley (the crackhead) wanted to confess. This is when Connie tries to calm him down but it goes on for much longer, she tells him that is is just playing into Deborah's hands because Abby went along with the arrest so that she could protect HIM and everyone at the Folkvangr and he wouldn't be helping Abby if he went there."We don't have a second to spare, don't you think you're wasting everyone's time by throwing a fit?" - awkward silence and blushy Rudy follow.

Also they say that he has to invite the judge and Scarlet comments "if he doesn't show up" and flashes a rape face at the pig priest. They figure that the rumor that he sees spirits is probably true by the way he acts.
I knew something was off when this arc flew by in like two episodes.

Connie recognized them right away and they "just came to see some intrigue", and San calls Connie "miss holy grail" with obviously makes them pretty suspicious, they then explain that the world Grail is usually about the Holy Grail in a story in old Farish and it's not a common name. They reveal they are indeed visiting from Faris. She does a reverence to Connie, kisses her hand like a gentleman and asks Connie to dance and she's is just dumbfounded. In the end she was just messing with our baby and leaves. Scarlett thinks there's something odd about them, ordinary tourists wouldn't be able to attend and they act like nobles, so Connie worries that they are enemies because of the holy grail plot to invade Adelbide.
