>>286253608As I understand it the whole point of the case is that that Anna, Mikuru and Cure Arcana Shadow all came to the same conclusion about who took the bag, but they used different evidence to come to that realization. With Cure Arcana Shadow coming at it from the eraser bread angle, Anna making the connection via wet paint that the stains were paint stains, and Mikuru looking at the pamphlet and realizing the ingredients were for a still life. Even if you as a viewer don't know the bread eraser thing, the other two paths to the truth are showcased earlier on in the episode, so a keen viewer can still figure out the answer ahead of time.I may not know much about Pretty Cure since this is my first season, but as a fun little mystery to fit neatly inside a single episode of episodic children's television I give it full marks. A well-designed 10/10 mystery if ever there does one. It even showcases Cure Arcana Shadow as someone who clearly has the skillset of a detective rather than a phantom thief for solving it in a different way to the protagonists. I hope she'll solve more mysteries while opposing the heroes in the near future.
