I've never liked Miu's role in the story. It just feels very tension breaking when there's an uber powerful ally just nonchalantly standing on the sidelines, knowing fully damn well that she could easily beat the ass of anyone Kenichi's struggling with but just deciding not to do so. I played a Kenichi-inspired pen and paper system online back around 2008-2011. We had a homebrew rulebook and a community of twenty-something players at peak. It was a shared universe thing with multiple GMs running different areas of the setting. You could make your own techniques, that was rad.We even had some tournaments but I usually got my shit pushed in.
