Liking the series so far. I noticed that Inui used a lot of close-up face shots this chapter. I hope it's a stepping stone for getting used to a weekly schedule and not a quirk of his "style"

Its was a mistake to make this manga more serious as the aliens aren't intriguing enough or scary enough for them to be interesting in that type of setting, and makes the plot holes in the premise much more noticeable. They should have led into the fun wrestling aspects of the manga way harder. Have Ouga fight instantly distinct aliens each and every single time that all have their own wacky tricks and abilities. Have side characters that are much hyped like a wrestling audience that could add fun commentary during battles instead of a dull kid and a dull angsty fujobait character. You can even have an announcer type character to make the fights more engaging. Take advantage of how dumb the premise of aliens took over an island and nobody noticed is and use that to its advantage and not take everything so seriously. Ouga works much more when everything else around him is just as wacky and zany as him.

And even still the alien simply felt like a bigger version of the previous one that Ouga fought, none of the aliens moves really differentiated itself outside of having much more impact. I hope the alien still has more tricks up his sleeves in the next chapter.
