The author should just ground the medical aspects of this manga more and it will be fine. He has some good paneling for the fights but needs to improve the flow between walls of text and action. Other than that I'm hoping the series survives a bit to see the author learning and growing, the fact this is is first manga makes for a good start.

Maybe it's because I'm a liberal cuck, but am I the only one who's starting to get bothered by how much Mr Doctor Kino just doesn't ever struggle with anything? He has magic eyes and performs impossible medical feats and wins every fight with ease and always turns out to be morally right and by the way he's researching rare diseases on the side. 5 chapters in it's starting to grate me how much of a Gary Stu this guy is. We get it, he's cool, but if he's like this already at the start of the story there's basically nowhere for him to go. No room for struggle or growth without going even more absurd than we already have, and the manga isn't even try to give moral complexity to his actions. If I wanted a pure power fantasy protagonist wankfest I'd be reading Money Forest, especially now that against all odds it's actually gotten good for real (for now), because at least MF doesn't pretend to be anything else.
