This chapter was okay, but a bit dull. Raidou's delusions are a funny way to get the chapter started. But as a whole chapter, they're just not much. Do those things where you put a silhouette of a person inside of a box and make sure the proportions are accurate to a guide you're using and then commit it to mostly memory. Like I said, important ones are that the wrists should align withe crotch height in a neutral positon and that the legs should at least the size of the entire rest of the body. In anime, it will go longer often. Those two solve the general proportion of a body. But there are many more for all the different parts. Do timed figure drawing, but with a specific goal in mind. Do some for flow where you are exaggerating the body curves and not locking into anatomy. Also do some where you are keenly observing the figure to see the perspective in it. They don't have to look good and probably won't til you've done them for a long time. Even if you've been drawing for a while, still draw boxes. I still drill them sort of. They're amazing for understanding perspective, which do not doubt, is the most important thing to learn. Besides that, copy anime. You can do all the above mentioned with anime too, but at least try to mix in 3DPD. With all that, anatomy will elevate it, but it doesn't do anything on its own. For anatomy, learn the area with a guide and then look at how artists you like draw it.

Methods like Loomis do help a lot, but you have to really practice them for them to become useful. When you're doing them at the start, you'll be so bogged down by the steps that the final vision will be muddied. You don't have to use loomis or anything, but I would advice putting in a box or at least setting down a line to help establish perspective on the head. The more you draw, the less you'll have to do obviously. If you want, I can drop an email here and I can give more advice or redlines or something there. I hate fighting the character limit and leaving giants text walls lol.
