So in the Epic of Gilgamesh after Enkidu and Gil become bros they decide they want to do some epic man shit and go to the Cedar forest. A plan in what is proably Iran now and want to cut down the valuable trees and bring the wood back to become rich and also slay Humbaba the demon who protects the woods under the gods demand to be seen a heroic. Now they go to do this except even when jumbing Humbaba their getting their ass kicked because he's that strong and has god powers and auras which can paralyze and knock them out. So Giglamesh begins to lie and talks about how he will surrender Humbaba his hot sister if Humababa lets them go and drops his aura. Humbaba who's like a complete retard goes "Yoinks! Alright" And drops his guard. Upon which he gets walloped by Gilgamesh. Humababa then beings to complain that "You guys tricked me,e what the fuc,k not cool bros! I'm just like a sad piece of shit hermit man with no family because I'm so fucking ugly. The gods ordered me to protect his place if you kill me they'll be angry. Also I want to live so please don't kill me!" Gilgamesh kinda feels bad for Humbaba at first until Enkidu tells him "We've already came this far, let's just go all the way. If the gods are mad this won't make them madder." (This is called foreshadowing) So Gil kills him and cuts off his head, bringing it back home as a trophy. I tell you all of this for one reason. How is Humbaba in fate supposed to be portrayed? Is this a Sasaki Kojirou moment where Humbaba is an imaginary creation or is he just straight up evil calamity incarnate in the fate verse without the nuiance?
