After thinking about it a bit and verifying what was said at the end of Part 1, I do think there’s a decent chance of a Part 3. Part 1’s ending also felt rushed to people, the main difference was that it was still overall mostly satisfying. This one is a lot more evidently unsatisfying, and I think people are jumping the gun because they think they know what Fujimoto is thinking. I wouldn’t be surprised if this decision was made so a new artist could take over for Part 3.

So set aside the ending for a second, part 2 still sucks absolutely donkey cock with Denji proving he is a sociopath who only cares about getting his dick wet and we basically spend the whole fucking part watching him get led into trouble his dick over and over again. Asa was actually pretty damn interesting but eventually got set aside for Denji again and then got fucked over by Yoru taking over for the rest of the manga, so Asa is only really here as a character for like a fifth of the whole part. Now consider the ending, and how Denji is immediately like, “but muh sex?!”. Like can you put two and two together? Denji, up until the very end even in the same chapter where Pochita kills himself, is still a midwit pervert loser. There was no battle IQ, no subversion, nothing. If the Bugchads didn’t rape Asa then Denji would’ve. In the first place, Chainsaw Man didn’t need a sequel, but hell, Denji’s new role as a big brother for Nayuta was intriguing, we can finally see what a “mature” Denji could be, and with Asa leading the story now, we had SO MUCH POTENTIAL for more kino on the level of Part 1. But it’s just gone now. Denji regressed as a character and if Part 3 really does happen then it’s gonna be more of the same. This chapter and the next will lead people to believe that “THIS time, Denji will change!!” But he won’t. And even if he did, it would probably just be a sudden shit written change like this chapter with Pochita. Kill Tatsuki Fujimoto and such.
