>>286688454I can't tell you if there's an actual meaning, but there's a lot of recurring elements that pop up in most of MozoCry's other works too, and clearly bother him.>When confronted with the suffering of other animals, the conflict between human empathy and dismissiveness/disgust, despite how that person might otherwise act towards other humans.>Neurotic thought spirals, flip-flopping between caring too much about something and "fuck everything" nihilism.>Being overly self-conscious about what other people think quickly turning into looking for "lesser people" around you to look down on.>All of the above feeding into trust issues and power dynamics within friendship groups.There's also a weird thing going on with the manga's genre/style shifts, but I can't tell you what that's about.If I had to guess, I'd say this one's a bit of a kitchen sink-work, with each cute girl being given a different one of MozoCry's neurotic thought patterns, and seeing how those girls then interact with each other as a friend group. A lot of these themes come up again and are spelled out more clearly in "The Tragically Sad Story of Hopelessness About Friendship" and parts of "Hedoro-san", moreso than Game Club or Spectral Wizard.
