>>286716509Because I think the art is legitimately good and an objective display of talent, and it's especially impressive in isolation. It's just that it feels more and more like an excessive flourish for the sake of showing off to the point it's harming the readibility, on top of just being too much when every page is so overdetailed, and meanwhile the writing gets more and more up its own ass. But if the next chapter follows through on the fantasy or sci-fi angle the ending of the last one seemed to hint at (maybe, because again it's legitimately hard to interpret the art at times) then all the artsy bullshit will at least have an outlet to become justified and not just weird visual metaphors.
