Milkit relays what happened to Flum, Flum figures out that the eyeballs attacking mechaninsm are triggered by knowing certain information after hearing her story. Flum figuring out that Sara is probably alive because she was excommunicated instead of "sent to the frontier".
She listened what Milkit was saying and figured out that the eyeballs attacks when one learns a particular information.
She didn't rush to save Eterna because someone needs to protect Ink and Milkit and she has almost no chance of defeating something that forced Eterna to run away.
Flum didn't leave Milkit's because she was afraid of leaving her alone (she was kidnapped anyways because the enemies powers are bullshit).
