No matter how much and how long you win, you can be put in a scenario where you are set to die regardless of the skill you possess. The only winning move is not to play at all. And anime team just ran this narrative in the background through games with much better survivals. Does it really sounds deep? No. Does it sound powerful and comprehensive? Hell yes.10/10 for the director and rest of team who made even the weakest parts of source shine.
