At the same time I wouldn't mind seeing a straight up normal rendition of the Fate route as well, they just need to include La Sola in some capacity. Ufotable stands to make so much money by doing a route where Saber is the main girl, the advertisements would be insane. I dunno why they don't do it

>>286712176Unironically, if they really wanted free money a re-release of the game with 1-2 new routes added in would probably be cheap as hell to make and no only gets them the money from the game itself, but the resulting new anime adaptations they get to have as a result. Personally I'd want to see them do a Caster route, because that has a lot of potential to it and presents a unique setup that challenges Shirou's position in a way that the existing three routes do not. A servant whose myth is DEFINED by supporting a great hero, but also by being a witch who is willing to kill even her own family to get what she wants, whether that is love or revenge.

Just random chance, Shirou comes across this woman in need of help before anyone else does and immediately offers to assist her in any way that he can without considering the consequences, because OF COURSE HE DOES. He becomes her master, and everything he learns about the war from then on comes from her. At that point Shirou either never meets Saber, Saber is summoned by Caster in the same way that she would normally summon Assassin, or someone else summons Saber. 2) The story proceeds under a more normalized trajectory early on, but Caster makes her move to capture Saber successfully MUCH sooner, like the very night that she is summoned. Perhaps replacing the Berserker ambush at the church with Caster herself. Personally I think the best progression of events here is that Caster ambushes them first, but Berserk shows up in the middle of the fight such that Caster successfully ganks Saber with Rule Breaker, but then right after that Kuzuki gets killed by Berserker showing up, leaving Caster in control of Saber but with no master herself and thus in danger of disappearing (she's charging herself and 2 servants at this point) forcing her to make a deal with Shirou to become her master lest she AND saber disappear. So this time Saber is still around, but no longer works for Shirou directly, instead still having to contend with Caster technically being her master.
