I watched MyGo and thought it was very good, but now watching Ave Mujica I'm finding it very mediocre. Ave Mujica is much more pretentious, exaggerated, melodramatic and silly at the same time.

I'm currently on episode 6. Mutsumi's drama is that she has a split personality, really? That sounds really silly for an anime about cute girls playing in a band. Sakiko is a terrible protagonist and all this aesthetic and use of Latin in Ave Mujica is just pretentious; it's the anime trying to be smarter than it actually is.

Seriously? I thought most people liked it, I always saw high praise for it. In any case I prefer the delicacy and lightness of mygo.

Ave Mujica is overrated, but still mostly entertaining.
MyGo is overrated and boring as fuck for 90% of the time. The only good parts are episode 10 and the finale, and the latter was a glorified PV for Ave Mujica.
