Is this actually worth watching or is it just another butchered VN adaptation

Apparently, the second season (Terra, the last chapter of the VN) is fine, but the first season pretty shit. Just read the vinnie dude

I am a big fan of the vn (and I am not delusional about its faults, I still love it regardless). With that being said, this anime was miserable to watch. The first season is an anime original plotline that spits on the vn in countless ways with some of the worst cg I've ever seen. The second season attempts to faithfully adapt the end of the vn, but only sort of succeeds and it still has the terrible terrible cg. The main value I got out of it was seeing particular scenes I liked from the vn animated (I think the last 10 minutes or so of the last episode of the second season was actually a very nice rendition). I would highly recommend not watching it, or reading the vn and then watching the second season, skipping around a bit if the current scene sucks too much.
