She's even the sister of Denji's traumatic oneitis that he's still not over (who was similarly dangerous and appealing). She's not the safe option; she's the wild and dangerous but attractive one. She's the bad idea you can't resist. But if Asa is somebody who actually cares despite her flaws, the story repeatedly emphasizes that Yoru is a devil who does not and cannot feel emotions like empathy. Chasing Yoru is like choosing to be Chainsaw Man: high stakes and high thrills, but without the genuine experience of life with a family/Asa. Asa and Yoru represent the split between fulfillment and thrill, and Denji never chooses between them. Only a few chapters after he extended his hand to Asa and promised to save her, he's whooping with joy at the idea of having sex with Yoru. It's no coincidence that moments after this he gets defeated for the final time. Denji's refusal to side with one or the other is just like his refusal to either be Chainsaw Man or live a normal life like Pochita wanted for him.
