I don't understand jack shit. How is anything happening here? Even ignoring the endless questions, it's not even really a happy ending; the characters you came to know are gone forever. There wasn't anything to smoothe the blow, either. It wasn't a willing choice by anyone besides Pochita, so there was no moment of characters accepting this in a "it's about the journey, not the destination" way and hoping they'll be luckier next time. There isn't a single person who remembers the old world, either. Not even saying those elements would fix this, but those are just off the top of the dome and it'd at least be something, And if the argument is made that these versions are similar enough to the originals that it still is a happy ending for them, then what the fuck was the point of the entire manga? This could've been the only chapter and nothing would change. What am I reading?
