Himuro is so sad as a character. Set up to be some hotshot newcomer but got taken out by a complete nobody in his first onscreen fight with a broken arm and getting his face stomped into paste. Sure, he spent the rest of Asura fucking bitches offscreen and doing fight commentary, but the recent chapter in the Asura thread showed that Himuro still wasn't on a high level since Okubo had to coach him through seeing Gaolang's pre-initiative against Agito. Fast forward to Omega and the seeds of Himuro's redemption were there. He and kaneda were some kind of teaching duo in the association, and his information gathering skills were being used to great effect. Sandro even wanted us to think that he was above Gaoh because he'd seen through his style and flexed just a bit. Only for us to realize that Gaoh was holding back his moves and it probably wouldn't matter to most fighters unless they had Akoya-levels of reaction time. All Himuro needed was a good fight to let us see he's improved in combat over the timeskip and we can start taking him seriously and well, he got nothing. If there was ever a time to recycle a character for the KvP tournament, it was Himuro. Let him fight an A-lister and win and maybe I wouldn't be laughing my ass off at this current matchup.
