after re reading part 2 i can firmly say that i liked the ending and fujimoto wanted this ending since the church, the execution is questionable by alot, the road to lead the ending has alot of problems but i see the vision in general. Theres alot of contradictions in worldbuilding and characters but those things were never relevant for fujimoto, indeed fujimoto has problems working with huge casts and conventional storytelling, his strong point are the inconventional storytelling from his pen; I know it sounds pretentious but this guy is a pretentious weirdo so i think is fair.
