The one thing I find odd about Fire Force is how Haumea was initially set up as some kind of rival for Arthur because he was the only one who could counter her power but eventually the plot switched her for Dragon. Don't get me wrong, Dragon was a way better rival for Arthur, but I still find weird they gave so much built up to him fighting Haumea only for that to end up in nothing.

>>287104745This is explained by the world being imperfect because Shinra is a retard at the end of the day, when Shinra and the rest are no longer there, Death is left with the aftermath of dealing with the imperfections, the witches were messing shit up and the world was being driven into madness. The world only became stable after Death managed to suppress the witches and countered the madness with his own. And even then that was just a stopgap, in fact even after Soul Eater ends the threat of the world being engulfed by madness remained since they only managed to seal the Kishin and not kill it, the Kishin is weak and can be vanquished but remains permanent and with enough time it will always resurface.It's Ohkubo saying that humanity is hopeless and will always drive itself mad to the point of self destruction.
