Nadeshiko a cute
i dropped solo camp pretty eary because of product placement and it was too painful. is this anime something i might like?
>>287064736this has product placement for pinecones
>>287064736What product placement did it have?
>>287064820Camping gear obviously. I prefer anime grounded in realism, but they could have easily invented some retailer that just put their own brand on everything.
>>287064770>pinecones aren't patented I'm interested
>>287064820With all that product placement. I doubt they're going to do anything edgy or exciting with it like trespassing to stealth camp or anything.
>>287065335It's too wholesome for that. These girls camp in official campsites and learn about cold weather and fire safety.
>>287065335I don't know about solo camp, but yama no susume had loads of product placement, but is still one of the best slice of life anime ever.
>>287065624I was talking about solo camp, which i know isn't the thread theme, but i digress. I know this is wholesome cute girls do cute things show.Don't mind me gentlemen. This is Yuru Camp bread, I'll see myself out.
>>287065826Just watch the show then you can stay
>>287065984I'll give it a try
The girls are cute, and they actually respect the main character's introversion. Also some of the best VAs in the business on this. Awesome music. I was shocked at the quality of this series. I really thought it was gonna be some low effort generic SoL.
>>287065826 >Don't mind me gentlemen. >I'll see myself out. No. Once you acknowledge it’s Yuru Camp bread you’re legally obligated to finish at least one season. It’s not just “cute girls pitching tents,” it’s unironically one of the comfiest productions of the last decade. The OST alone will rewire your brain into craving hot soup at 2am. And yeah, they respect Rin’s introversion instead of “fixing” her, which is rare as hell for CGDCT. If you can survive camping gear logos, you’ll survive this. Just make sure you have snacks ready because you *will* want curry noodles afterwards.
>>287065077>pinecones aren't patented
>shitting our diapers with rin
>>287067157Snacks? Noodles? Yuru Camp makes me crave MEAT.
I actually went camping with my sister and her friends from college thanks to this show it wasn't as cozy as yuru camp because they were all whores who kept asking me uncomfortable questions but I get the appeal of camping now
didn't some guy burn down a mountain because of yuru camp
>>287068997Yeah, but it wasn't Japan so the Yurus and Yamas are safe.
Camping is wildly overrated.
>>287068427
Please don't lewd the Yurus.
>>287069149Yes.
>>287069183Impossible to do
>>287069183You ask the impossible, brother. One of them is inherently lewd.
>>287068520Yeah I'm not into camping with other people. I enjoy it as a solo activity same as Rin.
>>287068520If they were whores did you atleast plap them?
>>287065673Some people make a really big deal about product placement. I think it's just another form of virtue signaling.
>>287069980I don't know about that, but the japs don't care much about product placement. Even if there's no contract to do product placement (and using a brand name would be copyright violation), they parody easy to recognize famous brands like McDonalds as the equally famous WcDonalds.Otaku just don't care if it's commercialism.
>>287069980people are generally upset about bad product placement.Like with all things, there's a way to do it well and a way to do it poorly.
>>287070899I don't read product names so it doesn't really affect me unless the characters explicitly talk about itdo you also read every sign in places like festivals or schools?
Rin is an asshole that thinks she's better than everyone else
>>287071562She is.
>>287070899>there's a way to do it well and a way to do it poorly. My personal example for this is Super Cub (which everyone thinks is a Honda advert) and One Off (which was actually made by Honda) in how they handle showing off Honda products.Super Cub: The bike (which is basically the second main member of the cast) and the Honda branded engine oil are the only things that show up.One Off: If Honda has ever made an example of [PRODUCT] in the entire history of the company that will be the only version that is seen even if it's something Honda isn't especially known for.
>>287071502>do you also read every sign in places like festivals or schools?I do, yes, because I read everything I see that's shorter than 10 words or so near instantly.

>>287091987I wonder what would happen if you were to hold on to one of those tents. Would the tent still fly? Would you plummet to the ground and die instantly, or would you only get broken bones?
Which one of the yurus would you camp?
>>287094389Healthy humans can generally survive falls up to 40 feet if the ground is soft, however not without severe injuries from greater heights. Spinal and head injuries greatly decrease the chances of survivability as well as variables such as the hardness of the ground or things like internal bleeding and access to healthcare. Of course, infants or elderly are more fragile. Once heights get above 50 feet, the odds of lethality increase dramatically, especially if one is falling onto concrete or stone. Above 80 feet, survival is incredibly unlikely.t. researched suicide by falling
All aboard the mono bus! Damn, this street looks so nice.
>>287094555>>287094389I should add, death from a fall is very rarely instantaneous below 200 feet especially onto soft surfaces. Many may lose consciousness or become paralyzed (appearing to die instantly due to lack of movement), but death generally takes a few minutes or hours depending on the severity of injuries. Its difficult to gage exactly how high those tents are flying, and I'm not sure if windspeeds are enough to carry a person inside the tent or holding onto the tent. Ultimately it would be a better idea to let the tent go.
>>287094555>t. researched suicide by fallingAre you doing okay Anon?
As I am personally most like Rin, I would choose to camp with Nadeshiko. Just not for more than one or two nights at a time, and no more than twice a month. Her enthusiasm and cooking would be very welcome, and her respect for my introversion would do much to smooth over her excessive outgoing nature. I would have her do all the interactions with other people at campsites, being my go-between. An extrovert like that is honestly an introvert's best friend. She's who I'd want to wife up.Although I would enjoy just being in a quiet campsite and not saying more than a few words together with Rin. I would get along great with her, and we could camp nearly constantly together probably. But I think it might get awkward at times and become a battle of wills at times to see who would be forced to be the more extroverted for those times when it is necessary. We'd be less productive campers, probably not push ourselves very much because we'd be overly considerate of one another and hold ourselves back, and probably have a lot of unresolved disagreements building up over time.
>>287094654I'm pretty sure that's Minobu. Like Nadeshiko said, the town is retro and cute.
I'm planning a series of mountain hikes now that the weather's getting better, but I want to go camping again, too. Anybody doing any outdoorsy stuff this spring?

>>287103787>>287104040That anon is either a white guy from Appalachia or an afluent white suburbanite who's irrationally scared of minorities because he sees cherry-picked footage of brown people committing crimes in cities far away from him. Truly pathetic.
>>287104455>cherry pickedLol
>>287103072No, it's Minobu. You can even see the souvenir store next to the station in this pic. Pretty cool that the bus happened to stop at the town that day.
>>287104455On the past 10 years, I have lived in 5 different states, 5 different cities and 10 different apartments - every single one of them has had a nigger try to break in at some point - counting trying to open windows and doors. They're animals and just want to rape, steal and leave garbage everywhere.Imagine how different Yuru Camp would be if the girls had to consider how many niggers and jeets might be around when they go camping or traversing to a campground using public transportation.
>>287067541what's a chomato?
>>287103072Says Kofu on the bus, so assume it's there.
Season 3 really thought they could just retcon these babies out of existence and nobody would care.
>>287107907are you talking about Aki's eyebrows?
>>287107907seems kind of body shaming to erase a chubby girls massive mommy milkers. Gigantic heaving jiggling milk cannons can be plump and heavy and sweaty without being sexual.
>>287107907Look at Akis eyes. She's not looking anyone in the eyes, shes clearly mesmerized with Aoi's deep cleavage - she can probably feel the intense heat emanating from those sweater puppies even from several feet away.
>>287107954No you blind bat, he's talking about Aoi's absolute badonkers getting nerfed between seasons. They went from “two full camping gas canisters under a sweater” to “politely filled hoodie” and you expect us not to notice?Aki’s brows are eternal. Those things could survive a studio change, an art shift, and a nuclear winter. The real retcon crime is the titty downgrade. Season 3 committed flat justice and I will not be silent.
>>287108921I'm sorry but my eyes are only ever drawn to my wife
Season 3 was boring and I dropped the manga during that whole bridge arc, shit just lost its magic
>>287109087
>>287109024I wonder if I should stop buying the manga now that the Gunma arc has ended in the English release. The manga has been feeling lethargic for a while
>>287107091That's strange because I went a majority minority university and the student body there was lovely. Your experiences do not speak for an entire race of people anon.
>>287107907>>287109087>>287109094How can little boys be safe while camping with girls like her around?
>>287109982Don't worry, she'll keep them warm and safe in her tent.
Emergency thread rations!
>>287111805I would eat Nadeshiko. She's made of pure sugar and would provide me with plenty of energy to get through the cold night.
Mono's newest stamp rally looks quite insane. It will take at least a few days for the average person. Plus you need the newly released guidebook to complete it.
Friends and I went camping on our own after we saw a few episodes when the show first started. Didn’t really prepare properly though and didn’t bring enough water, was 90 degrees at night and the only place our campsite got airflow through was directly over the fire pit. Not as bad as that guy who set the forest on fire when he went camping, but I want to go back to the same site and do a redemption camping trip because I can actually prepare properly now. Good show 9/10, camping in Japan seems so comfy
>>287109691Neither do yours
>>287112096I think everyone kinda fucks up their first camping trip, some way or another. For me it was carrying way too much weight. I had very heavy equipment hiking in, but it was a different time, before all these crazy space age materials and whatnot, and my stuff was even old back then. Now I have much nicer equipment, modern, and light, and a few different configurations for different environments and season. When possible I like to just go hammock and a tarp over with some paracord, assuming there's close sturdy trees to use, particularly if I'm hiking in far. I don't really do campgrounds, I'm that lunatic who likes to go orienteering out off a trail somewhere and set up a little camp of my own in the woods just me and the squirrels. But everyone has their own style of camping. Learn your own style and have fun your way.Definitely take your lessons learned and do better next time. Ganbatte!
>>287109094 They really said “no more nerfs” and dropped this like it’s an official apology illustration.Season 3 staff looking at this like “oh… so THAT’S what we forgot.”Gunma arc might’ve been slow but at least the fanartists are carrying the franchise on their backs (and chest). Absolute camp queen energy. Honestly if the manga keeps coasting but the art stays this blessed, I’ll survive.

[Sad news] The location that served as the model for "Yuru Camp△" is closing down; is the camping boom fading? "It's a shame, especially since we had high expectations," Yamanashi.https://news.ntv.co.jp/n/ybs/category/economy/ysa9f04cd7e55243faaf4bccc183ce67d6Minobu Nature Village, the campsite that served as the model for the one in the theatrical version of "Yuru Camp△," will be closing its doors at the end of this month due to a decline in visitors and other reasons."Minobu Nature Village" is an accommodation and camping facility in Minobu Town that opened in 2018.It gained attention four years ago when it was featured in the theatrical film "Yuru Camp△" as the model for the campsite. However, due to the decline in the camping boom and a series of bear sightings in the town, the number of users last year fell to less than 40% of the peak number four years ago.Furthermore, the aging population in the local area has made it difficult to maintain the simplified water supply system, and the company responsible for its management has decided to suspend operations at the end of this month. The town stated, "We are disappointed, as we had high hopes for this facility to revitalize the community," and plans to consider new operational methods going forward. >>287129113It's the auditory equivalent of Nadeshiko wrapping you in a soft, warm, blankie kissing your cheek and wishing you sweet dreams
>>287129176I would prefer to just have Nadeshiko wrapping herself around me and be the soft warm blanket. Stuff her full of meat, make her melt to her maximum marshmallowness, and then pour her over me and around me and I'll sleep in her like a fluffy gooey waterbed.
>>287130445That's weird.
>>287129176What about her being wrapped in the blanket with me while we watch kinos like master and commander and eat junk food?
Pull her cheeks and see if they can wrap around the back of her ears.
>>287130445What did anon mean by this?
>>287132850I meant exactly what I said.
>>287120593 Same. Feels like every time some comfy IRL location ties itself to an anime, it gets a quick boom and then just… fades. It’s not even about camping specifically. It’s that weird transient otaku economy where a place becomes “pilgrimage-core” for like two years and then once the hype cycle moves on, real life catches up. Aging locals, maintenance costs, bear sightings, whatever. The show gave it this warm, eternal vibe and then reality just shrugs.Yuru Camp is literally about appreciating quiet moments that don’t last forever, so I guess it’s painfully on-brand. Still sucks though. Makes the comfiness feel fragile instead of permanent.
