A few thoughts:Firstly: this manga is ending—when the harem protagonist starts rejecting heroines, you know that shit is on track to wrap up. Secondly: I'm glad Tenichi nutted up and rejected this poor girl properly, even if I do think it's ridiculous that he didn't do so sooner. Lastly and most importantly: if he gets with Himari after rejecting Kanna on the basis of not wanting to risk her career, he will be an irredeemable asshole and I'll fucking hate him for it. And I WANT Himari to win. I'm more certain than ever that Ono is a spurned Onoderafag who wrote this manga so the generic, dark-haired, middle school crush heroine can finally win. I'll finish reading this manga. But I've lost all affection for it.
For all intents and purposes, Himaten is doing a splendid job to survive despite the constant bullying it gets from antis and WSJ editorial. It only gets 1 color page (compared to Shinobi that gets almost 8 in this year alone). The physical sales aren't declining, digital sales are performing better than Shinobi. The fanbase is little, but loyal. Our last cope is that it will probably get an anime. It better does, or else I'm going to kill Saito in minecraft

Another thought: Ono threw in the bit about Himari's fans being okay with her dating to give himself an out for if she does end up with Tenichi. That way he can say, "Well he can't date THIS idol because her fans will be butthurt about it, but this one is fine because her fans are cool with it." That's fucking lazy as shit and I won't accept it though. I can't believe I've reached the point that I'll be pissed off if Tenichi doesn't even up with my last favorite heroine. How the fuck does an author even manage to do that?

Murakoshi, the previous editor was assigned to a new manga (Harukaze Mound) and the new editor is a newbie editor who previously managed Chojo (which was handled by Murakoshi at first too). With that track record, I'm confident to say that the new editor sucks. He failed to handle series with stable fanbase (Chojo won 3rd place in Tsugimanga) and even got Chojo axed. He can't contribute new ideas to the series.

How are you gonna make a late entrance heroine who cannot be in relationships due to her job and try to seriously make her compete WHILE being fully devoted to her career.
