You introduce a shadow-ops dragon girl working behind the scenes and instead of letting her cook you dump her backstory in 3 pages and sideline her for bland MC brooding #47. I've never read this and I just like to check out axed series to see if they are interesting. And obviously I'm missing context from the earlier chapters but this seems legitimately awful, there's like no real coherence with the plot its trying to tell and while its obviously axed and not a natural ending it doesnt even feel like an attempt to wrap anything up.

From the very start it felt like this had the broad strokes of a grand fantasy epic but not enough of the connecting material to make it impactful.
