Most Kirara series have a main cast of 3-5 characters and typically only introduce further characters once in a while. In this series it felt like a new character every two chapters.

This has been a problem since Water Margin, the massive cast of characters is one of its most famous features but a lot of them are practically footnotes at best.

DanDaDan is currently experiencing it. It's not as egregious as series like Bleach, but the ballooning cast really feels like it's beginning to detract from the main appeal of the manga.
