RE:Creator's Altair has my favorite hat in anime.
Simca from Air Gear has a great one as well.
>>287107073I think that's called a shako. It's also my favorite soldier cosmetic.

>>287107537Pissing off animators is worth it if the character has a nice hat.

>>287107073maybe this. remember it evolved from a full hair covering. and i like it because it completes the maid outfit.
>>287107081It's been so long since I read air gear, I only remember obama showed up
>>287107073I will always be mad that I had a preorder of Altair's cool figure and it just fucking... ceased to exist. Order cancelled, money refunded. The figure is real, its just that my order went poof. And after that, it was twice the price so I couldn't get it again anywhere reasonable.
>>287107073Altair did nothing wrong!
>>287109842How do tiny hats stay on?
>>287107537Reminds of how the commentary cast of Persona 4 the Animation complained how there was so many stitches on the characters' uniforms and it sucked having to redraw them for every single frame. No hats in the picture, sorry

>>287110246In D&D 3.5 there is actually a cheesy little trick where you cast Shrink item on a 10 foot tall cone of steel (reduces it to 1/16 of its original size) and wear it as a pointy wizard hat. When anyone drops an antimagic field on you (which would prevent you from casting spells in it), the hat re-enlarges and falls around you, forming a 10 foot tall barrier that blocks the field out and lets you do something in the meantime.
