>tfw no retro threadWhat is everyone watching and reading?I finished Igano Kabamaru last night, so I will resume Akazukin Chacha tonight.
>>287119348To save this infant thread from sageing, I want to get into Adachi. Any thoughts on Nine as a series?
I've been re-reading Dragon Ball (I first read it when I was like 8) and I just finished the pre-Z part of the manga, so now I'm watching the moviesI'm pretty sure I saw them as a kid, but I honestly don't remember these villains at all

I have been watching Index. This nun is cute.
>>287119348Akage no Anne is a perfect adaptation. And was one of the last Nippon animation projects Miyazaki worked on before the split and formation of Ghibli. I recommend it to all SoL enjoyers, especially since it got a HD release.
I decided to get stuck right in with Nine and it is quite a charming collection of films/specials.
I have finished the second film. Pic is a spoiler. The main couple, there is another couple too.I will say that the story is good, as with most baseball anime that I have seen. I am not good at summarizing concisely in short notice, but I can recommend at least the first two films. Watching all three films is 3 hours and 20 minutes, or about the same runtime as a 12 episode series, but instead of someone getting sacrificed to the lesser deity of Mitsubishi Fuso, we are given a touching (no pun intended) story about love, motivation and baseball. To tablet-anon: How did the call go? Are they willing to do a build for you? This is my last post for the night, forgive me if this thread sages.
