Guts forgives Griffith and together they lead Griffith's army against Void, at the climax Griffith sacrifices himself to defeat Void and erase every single Apostle and monster from the world, he has a last goodbie kiss with Casca before vanishing for ever. In the end Guts becomes the king of the world and built a giant statue to honor Griffith. Guts and Casca have another child and name him Griffith. Isidro and Puck died heroically during the eclipse or something BTW.THE END

So when I read it, I thought it was meant to be a realistic medieval mercenary story.then fucking Zodd shows up and it’s like “WHAT THE FUCK”out of all the different manga I’ve read, that’s the one point where a scene really sticks out in my memory
